— and Why This Next Chapter at Cannizaro House Means So Much to Us

Just after Christmas, we shared some difficult news with you: after many wonderful years in Wimbledon Village, rising high-street costs meant that our boutique could no longer continue in its original form.

It was not a decision we took lightly.

Take Time has always been built around care — for our clients, our therapists and our community — and stepping away from our original space was emotional for all of us. What happened next, however, reminded us exactly why we love what we do.

Hotel Du Vin offered us a lifeline. For the next six months, it will become our new home.

This is a trial, one filled with hope, possibility and opportunity — and we wanted to share honestly what it means, why we’re excited, and how incredibly grateful we are for your support.

While our location — and the way we operate — has evolved, the things that matter most remain exactly as you know them.

Our therapists continue to deliver the experience you trust, now within Cannizaro House — and under a model that allows us to operate sustainably in this new setting.

It’s a new chapter, shaped carefully and deliberately, so that Take Time can continue to thrive.

A New Setting to Enjoy

Cannizaro offers something rather special. There is on-site parking (£2 per hour), beautiful spaces to linger, and the chance to turn your appointment into a longer, more indulgent visit.

Enjoy a coffee or lunch in the bar or orangery.

In the summer months, the terrace becomes a favourite — the perfect place for a glass of champagne or wine after your manicure or facial.

It’s a new way to experience Take Time, and we hope you’ll love it as much as we already do.

Why This Trial Matters

This six-month trial is incredibly important to us.

Its success will determine not only whether we can remain at Cannizaro long-term, but also how much space we are able to grow into within the hotel.

Every booking, every recommendation, every familiar face returning through the door helps shape what comes next.

To those of you who have followed us, supported us and championed us over the years — this opportunity exists because of you.

Their support has made this next chapter possible, and we are excited to build something beautiful together.

A Small Change to How We Work — With Full Transparency

With our move comes a slight evolution in how we operate, and we wanted to be completely open about this.

When you book with us:

• 60% of your payment goes toward the hotel as hosts and to Take Time London for managing the booking platform, facilities, and all products and stock. This portion is inclusive of VAT.
• The remaining 40% is paid directly into your therapists account on the day through our secure pla. Our therapists now work with us as freelance contractors.

Because of this, we kindly ask that if you need to cancel an appointment, you do so with as much notice as possible — as late cancellations can directly affect a therapist’s income.

We truly appreciate your understanding.

About Prepaid Courses

We also wanted to clarify our position regarding prepaid courses.

As we had not sold any new courses since October, and we shared news of the boutique’s closure in early January ahead of our mid-March departure, many of you will already have had the opportunity to use yours.

Due to the change in business model at Cannizaro House, and our agreement with the hotel, we are unfortunately unable to continue servicing prepaid courses at this location.
